Tools
used by traffic cops to catch unsuspecting speeders
in the act. Don't get caught speeding with any of
these traffic enforcement
units.
Luckily for the traffic
officer, she has an arsenal of weapons at her
disposal to catch unsuspecting speeders.
Radar
The oldest speed enforcement tool is RADAR which is
an acronym for Radio Detection and Ranging. In a
nutshell, a radar unit sends a radio beam directed
at a moving object such as a car or truck and can
instantly calculate (via a small microprocessor)
the rate of a movement. Over the years, the Radar
unit has been a faithful and somewhat reliable
tools for the traffic officer to utilize but is not
perfect.
Speeding Ticket by Pacing
Another method of catching speeders is by pacing a
vehicle. Many times, a motorcycle officer or
vehicle will either pace you from a reasonable
distance behind or in your blind spot. Needless to
say, if you saw the traffic officer directly behind
you, would obviously slow down. This speed
detection method also has flaws, especially if the
cop was pacing you from a far distance behind.
VASCAR
Vascar is a little more complicated because it
measures the distance you travel between two
points. After a quick calculation, again from a
microprocessor, it can track your vehicle's
speed.
Laser Speed Detection
The latest speed detection device used by traffic
enforcement is LASER. Although they may look
initially like a radar gun, they actually operate
in a different manner. Some offers think that Laser
is more accurate because you're able to pinpoint a
driver on the road. On the contrary, radar actually
emits the radio waves in a cone-like shape. The
further the distance from the radar gun, the larger
the cone and thus where inaccuracies occur.
Going to Traffic Court
If you think the fine is a rip-off or "joy" to pay,
you should experience traffic court. The bottom
line is that if you are not prepared to
defend your speeding ticket and the officer shows
up, you will probably lose. This is not always the
case and if you learn about the law and how it can
work in your favor, it can get your speeding ticket
case dismissed.
Online since 1997 and after reading PayNoFine, I
quickly realized that it's much easier to fight
your speeding ticket than it is to pay those high
traffic fines or possibly run the chance of higher
insurance rates for the next few years.
Recently updated, PayNoFine's how-to
self-help
legal manual helped
save me big bucks because it actually works. As the
USA's leading traffic defense web site, it
available in paperback or instant download PDF so
you can read it tonight and use in traffic court
tomorrow. PayNoFine provides valuable information
for drivers who've received a speeding ticket
including radar, VASCAR, airplane and laser
tickets. It also covers an array of other traffic
violations such as running a red light, unsafe lane
changes and out-of-state traffic tickets.
In short, PayNoFine provides you step-by-step
instructions on how to fight
any type of speeding ticket in
court without all the technical legal speak that
most self-help books contain. I simply used the
questions and answers from the legal defense manual
and read them verbatim in court, which made me more
comfortable appearing in the first place.
Despite being courteous and respectful to the
officer, it seemed that no matter what I said, she
was out for blood. I admit that I do speed but if
there ever was a time when I was not guilty, this
was it. That's why I decided to beat
my speeding ticket.
Even better, I purchased in confidence because
PayNoFine comes with a 30-day money back guarantee
which made me feel more assured about my online
purchase. I can honestly say that it works and was
worth every penny. There was nothing better than
hearing the traffic court judge rule on my case by
uttering those glorious words, "case
dismissed."
